i love the country!

the kids and i woke up to a great treat this morning. out in our back pasture there were about eight deer prancing and playing. i think that it was 3 mommas and 5 babies. they were super cute but they did disturb our morning as we spent at least 20 mins just watching them out the window really cut into our precious time in the morning but it was fun watching the kids enjoying them. the kids have taken up bird watching too. they can identify a few birds now and can tell you if they are male or female. they get to do all of this because we are now in the country. it has been really nice out here. the kids are more willing to go out and run around and you get the pleasure of getting closer to nature. we are going to have to put up a fence around the garden for sure. with all these deer around I'm sure that they will try and eat our veggies.

I love the country also. Have you settled in then? How is everything else going? How is the relationship with the in-laws now that you are on your own again? MOM

Oh, how nice, Shirl! :-) I wish I could see deer in my back yard! What a wonderful start to the day.

Love,
Becky.
